ISO9001 and ISO14001 Logos

Ryedale Organics successfully achieved our ISO 9001 accreditation in May 2021 with the help of WRM (Walker Resource Management).

We are delighted to report another successful audit this year for both the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Suppliers, customers, and staff continue to benefit from improved monitoring, performance, and efficiency.

We strive to push the standard of customer service and quality of product to a new level each year by investing in machinery and providing ongoing training for staff. We are extremely proud of accreditations achieved by the team.

Three-year deal with Greater Manchester Combined Authority

Ryedale Organics are happy to announce a three-year deal with Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). The successful bid was officially announced at the end of March with work starting in April.

GMCA is one of England’s largest waste disposal authorities, holding waste powers for nine councils in Greater Manchester.

GMCA have used a framework of In-vessel composting facilities to process its 125,000 tons of kerb-side food and green waste.

We look forward to providing a great value service and helping the council meet its ongoing recycling targets and waste minimization programme.

New Installations

We have recently installed two Ariterm Biomass 999KW Boilers. The boilers allow us to heat our poultry sheds as well as drying woodchip and maize without the use of fossil fuels. Our recycling operation complements the woodchip production, supplying a dried 40mm woodchip product which is produced on site. The benefits have been excellent with the additional benefit of reducing our carbon footprint.
